What fertilizers are you using? Have you added anything to the tank? It just looks like algae on the plants, you should be able to rub it off with your fingers.

Organ Planner Plus 7 for the fertilizer, i brush of the algae but it always comes back in a few hours. Filter is all clean and working. So not sure what else to do.
I did forget to fertilize it for a month or so as i was out, not sure how to get it under control again. If i should pull the plants out and flush and trim em.

10 hours a day, the algae issue didnt start until the plants started dying out.

That might be too long.....what kind of light do you have?

 

I am new to the live plant thing but usually keep my light on 6-8 hours max. Must be some kind of imbalance. Have you tested your water?
High phosphate can cause algae bloom but that looks like bio film to me.
No changes or new additions to your tank?
Maybe pull rinse and replant, the plants that is

 

Aren't plants supposed to keep them at 6-8 hours? I read your post Gamegurl. I read that in a book once. 😁
