I don't know if maybe this thread has been made before.. but here goes.
What is the best story you have about your experience with keeping fish?
A fish's amazing/humorous personality? First hand experiences? Amazing things you might have discovered about your fish? Any kind of story you'd like to share!
I'm fairly new to keeping fish and I'd love to hear your stories! I think I'm getting sucked into this hobby more and more every day lol..
I guess the best story I have is with one of my Ballon Mollys. I had bought a pair of Ballon Mollys, both female, a while back ( maybe three months? ) and one of them was SO pregnant.
Anyways, I kept wondering everyday when she'd have the babies. I waited and watched and was hoping to see her having the babies. Well, one weekend I was away some place and I left my mom caring for my fish. I told her to feed them and keep an eye out for babies. I didn't think the Molly would give birth while I was away.. but she did!
It was such a BIG mess! My mom was flipping out and my grandma was flipping out and everyone was trying to get them to the baby tank we had! It was, at the time and still is for me, funny because of how my mom was amazed/excited/freaked out that all these tiny fish were just born and she was trying to transfer them all to safety lol
If I can think of any other stories I'll be sure to post! I can't wait to hear about your fish!
