JIM posted a good idea on my last poll. He said "Do you suppose the kind of fish we keep reflects our own personalities???". Well do you? I thought that was a really good topic because everyone on this forum is a fish friend.

Mine reflects my desires about working with my water instead of fighting it and my desire to not have high maintenance fish. I leave the discus and similar fish to people who don't mind daily water changes. I like the durable fish who do well in my own tap water and can go a week or two without a water change without harm.

my snowflake eel is always getting into things he shouldn't(like me)-but for him, by getting into, i mean getting into-he always slithers into small spaces, knock down a rock, and than gets stuck and tries to dig his way out, almost always blowing sand into the water column. just yesterday his head almost got stuck in a cavity in some new live rock we bought!

I got a ropefish and he is a lot like your eel. He loves to explore the tank but can get stuck. He is smart (for a fish) and most of the time he can get (in and) out of trouble. Sort of like me.
