There seems to be a white/fuzz like dot on the right side of my Oscar, about 1/4 inch below and to the left of his eye. He had a bad case of ICH and I treated it, until it went away. He then was chasing another fish and brushed passed a log, where I noticed he could have incurred some damage. I thought this white piece was perhaps an infection to a broken scale or something but not sure what it is. Any ideas?

Could we get a picture?
I know one of my oscars hit his head while being rowdy one day and it left a white spot for a few days, but it wasn't fuzzy looking.

Fish often get secondary infections after injuring themselves, opportunistic things like bacteria and fungus often growing wounds. I'd recommend just doing frequent water changes to make sure the water is as clean as possible and maybe adding some StressCoat to the system. It really helps fish to heal faster. Let us know how he's doing. If it doesn't heal in a week or less or if it gets worse, it may be something more serious. Keep us posted.
