Heya gang,
It's been a bit quiet so I thought I'd stir the pot a little.
My favorite plant right now is the Java Fern Windelov.
I don't know why I hesitated getting these before but am glad I followed my heart.
When I got the first ones I noticed this fuzzy beardy type stuff on one of the plants and worried it was some kind of algae.
After cutting off that leaf and inspecting the area it turns out that is how this plant makes babies.
They send out this wispy brown hair and the plantlets sprout from there.
My plants are flourishing and making all kinds of baby's and new leaves.
I circled the beardy area on the plants and if you look close you will see tiny green baby plants sprouting from them.
So so cool.
What's ya'all's favorite plant?
have a smurfy day

Bucephalandra in flowering stage. Grew a nice white flower. Dropped the flower petals the other day.

Oooooo, sweet!
I hope one of my Buce makes flowers.
My favorite plant today is my Bucephalandra Green Godzilla. The picture I'll post is a piece of Rhizome I clipped off my most recent order. It was nothing but a piece of Rhizome 1.5 months ago. I love the prehistoric look of this plant, super cool.
It's made all four leaves and you can see a bunch of tiny leaves on the stalk as well. Good job Godzilla, Japan is OURS!

Make sure that if the rhizome breaks off and it's still green it'll produce leaves. If it's any color but green or yellowish green it's dead. 😆

If it's soft to the touch it's dead to. Dang brown algae rotted one of mine.
Curse you brown algae!
