new 90 gal tank with ciclids. been trying to add plants for aesthetics and nitrate control. anything with thin stalks gets ripped up by the ciclids. Found some plants at petco that look like bamboo, but, are not. From what I have read , bamboo can't be fully submerged. Petco staff does not know what they are. They are thriving and would like to know what they are . Ciclids do chew them up over time, and, I can't always find them locally. anyone recognize ?

Hi!
That does looks like lucky bamboo!
(I'm not sure)
Don't let the lucky bamboo be fully submerged it should be emersed and let the leaves be on the surface so the leaves can "breathe"!

Hope this will help even though this is not what your ask!(a little too late though)
