I've got my light on a timer, comes on at 12PM and the goes off at 9PM. Then my moonlight kicks in for a few hours before it shuts off. So basically the lights are on for 9 hours for the plants. Is that enough time for the fishies to have light?
Should be fine. They wouldn't mind a little bit more light time, but 9 hours is good. There always has to be a balance between the amount of light that's good for your plants and fish and what keeps the algae from going crazy. So, 9 hours may just be perfect
