:fish9: Hi there,

I am trying to find a timer with which I can automatically turn the lights over an aquarium on and off in 10 minute intervals. I have looked at many websites but just can not find any. I will need it for an experiment with microscopic algae. I am trying to simulate the light conditions to which algae are exposed in a mixed water column, that is, they "see" high light at the surface (lamp on) and within 10 min they get mixed deeper into the water column where there is only very little light (lamp off). I realize that this is not a common application for aquarium lighting but I am curious to know if any of you have timers that can be set to such short intervals and if they even exist. If you happen to have one, for what brand/name should I search? Thanks a million! :fish5:
