Saturday I visited my local lfs' looking for new tiny fish to fill up the space. Small tanks, so small fish.

First I found one gold neon tetra, only one in the store. And also a juvie head and tail light tetra, only one left. So I got them as company for each other.

Then at another store found Norman's Lampeyes, and I couldn't resist, so ended up with four of the adorable little guys.

The gold neon tetra was too feisty for the little tank, so I moved it into my larger tank, but secluded in the net breeder for now.

I think I'm overstocked .... lol. The little lampeyes look very 'ghostly'. They'd be great in a tank with a skull for a decoration. Anyway, I'm happy now.

This one is a gold neon tetra. Not the same as a gold tetra. I really like them both, though. The gold neons look like an albino neon tetra with very light bodies and subdued red and blue lines and with blue eyes, not red. I love the blue eyed fish.
