Has anyone ever had one of these?
I have finally found a pet site that will ship to Canada (yes!) and they actually have puffers on there....
I am thinking of adding one or two new species of fish to my new 75 gallon in April, and wanted to see what everyone thought of puffers...

If anyone knows how this fish would get along with..
angels, balas, tetras, mollies, barbs, gouramis, paradise gouramis, plecos, catfish

thank you!

Puffers are slow eaters. So don't go well with more aggressive feeders. If picked on, they will puff up, my experience has been that they are unable to unpuff. When they are scared or die, they poison the tank along with your other fish. Puffers make a great species only tank, though. I just love them.

Puffers eat their food slowly - one chunk at a time. I do not think a puffer would do well at all with your other fish. Puffers are usually kept in a species specific tank. ;)
