I have a dozen pristellas in my 29g planted tank, and planned to add 6 julii or trilineatis cories, 4 otos and 1 pearl gourami. But the pond snail situation got pretty bad and I added 3 small zebra loaches. I also added 3 of the otos at the same time. In the two weeks since, the loaches have done a great job on the snails, and the loaches and otos have cleaned up virtually any algae in sight.

But with the loaches now part of the mix, and the tank looking very clean, I’m wondering if I should pass on the fourth oto and get fewer cories, or none at all. Thoughts?
