Hey everyone, quick question

Performed a 25% water change on my 55 gal aquarium 2 days ago...I have a Python Products gravel vac and such that you can connect to the faucet....got that all done, and refilled with the same temperature water when finished and added stress relief to the water because of it being tap water. Anyways, upon completion, I lost 4 out of my 5 fish...NO idea why, completely clueless - so obviously nervous to do this again when cleaning the tank as to not lose more fish...what does everyone think? -

DI you dechorlinate the tank after adding tap water..... I'm asumming its city water.
Stress coat, as far as I'm aware, does not dechorlinatre. (sorry for the spelling I'm very tired)

Yes, make sure that you declorinate the water before putting it in. With new and cycled tanks, I would only remove 10% of the water a week. Only do 25% changes with deep cleaning, and when you have sick fish with medication. It helps keep the water circulated.
