i was just going through the forums and i noticed that by my name it said that i was an active user than across from that it said moderators than it listed some. I was just wondering what those were

Moderators are people that are selected to watch over the site... to make sure everyone is being good, to look for spam, to keep an eye on things

The moderators have the ability to edit posts and things like that, in case people come here and post things that are not allowed or against the rules, etc. They basically enforce the rules and also help people move threads around and things like that.
