If i have a fluval 205 and 304 set up in a 55g will that be enough to move the water around or should i still use an air pump? i dont really like the look of the air bubbles in the tank only reason im using it is because i thought you had to.
in FW, idk know a whole bunch but I think you have to have air bubbles, their is a disease if the dont have air in the water. And it moves the surface of the water, but i dont think that you need a whole bunch of air all over the place
I asked this same question.
Air bubbles are just an appearance thing. I was told they do nothing for oxygen in the water or circulation. It all depends on your filter and how the water is hitting the tank water....
