I'm "cross posting" here as I'm also a member of Reason being that I' really worried about my little friend...

We have persistent problems with what i think is fin rot. We have treated him with antibiotics since Tuesday this week (4 days today) but he seem to get worse. I really hope we can help him, because he has a great character, is very responsive and playful, and made his way to become "family" with us :)

Does your Betta have any history of being ill? We suspected pop-eye and posted som images here, but i think no one could decide if it was pop-eye or not (Diagnose red patch and possible pop-eye)
How long have you owned your Betta? A few months.
Was he or she ill or suffering some sort of damage when purchased? No.

He is changing color in a raging tempo.
