Is it normal behavior for an Oranda to stand on it's head in a corner? lol I know it sounds odd, but my big Oranda 'Fatty' likes to do this. Today he was on his head kind of wedged in the rocks. He does it for short periods of time, then acts normal. Is his fat head to heavy? lol :fish5:

sounds to me like your fish is just exploring the boundaries of the tank!

Hi Sheena! Sounds like it might be a very mild case of swimbladder. It's very common in fancies. You could try feeding him cooked shelled peas, as this sometimes helps. Also sinking pellets instead of flakes.

Sounds like your Oranda is just resting. My two do it all the time, especially when the light is turned off.

This is correct, only thing is fast the little guy for a day before feeding the peas. Mine do it. but it's mainly just looking for food.
