hi all i put sand in my tank and i washed it prior but the water is still cloudy and has been for some while just wondered if that was normal and if not what can i do to clear my water up please help thanks

Was it play sand? If so you have to rinse a little at a time. You can do several water changes to help clear it up. As you put the water back in set a plate or something on top of the sand and slowly put the water back in.

no its not play sand its one from the shop for aquariums il try changing the water and using a plate as you said thanks
