I like that. Is that one piece of wood floating? Looks cool that way. Would look better to tie some moss to it and let it hang down into the tank.

yeah, i just put it in today, so it will take a little while for it to sink. once the DW is waterlogged, i am going to shape it, and tie the rest of my java ferns to it somehow.

this tank was quite a journey to build. but its coming along

They always takes time. but its best that way, you get it the way you want. And if your like me, I end up changing things around because I get bored with it after awhile.

oh, i didnt mean the tank itself, i meant the filter. i built a 5g/ 60x turnover wet/dry filter for this tank. lol. that was the journey. lol.
the rest is cake. im used to big tanks, so this timy pico tank is a nice change of pace for me.

Yeah, the one plant in the back the leaves look to big for the tank and throws it off.

indeed. i think theyre going back in the refugium. theres actually 2. one on either side. but i agree, even these anubias are too broad.

Be careful as to not bump those pipes on the back so you dont crack the tank! I've broken a few refugiums in that manner, lol.

i purposely set it up with that in mind. all the pipes run behind the tank to a wall , and off to the side behind one of my couches. there will be no bumping this accidentally. that would be tragic though.
at least it would only be a gallon of water to clean up. lol
