I went to Pet Supplies Plus where I live in Battle Creek, Michigan and they are doing a $1 a gallon sale right now and that includes a 55 gallon tank. I want to put two fancy show quality goldfish in it. Larger ones. Is there anyone on here that could put me in touch with breeders?

I am, of course, willing to travel. Will it be okay to just have two large goldfish in a tank? I was thinking a large fancy hanfusa and a calico lionhead. *ranchu*

I have had my existing goldifsh tank for about two years now and I feel as if I am ready for another tank

Suggestions on finding high quality fish? The local stores have some nice ones, but lack a good selection of the fancy types.

You can find some nice ones on Aquabid. As for two in a tank, I think three would be better. A 55 should be able to house three fancies if you have enough filtration.

Are there any reputable breeders or fisheries someone could refer me to? I am looking for some very specific fish.
