Hi there!
I am planning on building a large aquarium and want to build a wooden frame for it to go on top of. Its gonna be 6 meter in width and 12 meter in length. I want to turn the frame on a wood lathe for crafting purposes. Should I use a full sized lathe for the job or a mini lathe would do?

Tbh the details you provided aren't sufficient enough to guide you the right way. What exactly is the max length of the wood pieces you want to turn? In my experience, some mid level lathes have enough turning capacity for large projects. Still woodturning on a full size lathe for wood is always much easier as the work area and turning capacity aren't limited. Still I'll have to have more details to understand the real nature of your project.
