I went to the LFS today to stock up on some new food. I decided to get some frozen blood worms and give them a try. The fish in my 55g never had bloodworms before and are usually used to brine shrimp, flake, etc. However, when i put the blood worms in, they didnt seem ultra-interested in them like I imagined. I know you cant really force any fish to like or dislike certain foods, but is there anything I can do to help them accept the bloodworms?

What I do when wanting to change to a new food, I fast them for a couple of days and then they will try it and most likely will like it.

Impatient little fellow arent you . As Susuan said, no matter what new food youre trying on your fish, they are usually reluctant to take it. Dont feed them for a couple of days, which will do no harm, and they will take about anything you drop in there. I normally feed the freeze dried variety if i can find them because the protein content is usually higher.
