I'm going away for a week and was wondering what would be the best solution for feeding my fish while I'm away. I know having someone fish-sit is the best but that's just not possible!

Thanks. I've been doing some reading on them. I think I'll pick one up today.

I can leave my fish for a week without worrying about feeding. Just feed them good before you leave. Then when you get back feed them good again and do a water change. If you have plants in the tank, they will eat all the micro critters that grow on them.

i bought an automatic feeder. dont buy them, they dont work.

basically, an automatic feeder turns super slow and makes a revolution every 12 hours. when it turns at a certain point, it dumps a set amount of food out of a tube. through my experiences, if you place the automatic feeder above your aquarium, evaporation will condense in the feeder tube and will not let the food out.
