Hi,

This my first time here and my first time on any aquarium forum to be honest. Does anyone have some experience of building there own aquarium background by any chance? Just want some advice on materials.

well ive seen a few diy backgrounds on the internet made out of styrofoam/polystyrene sheets and cement...but im dubious to how safe this is inside an aquarium. Ive been told by a friend to use paint and epoxy resin but im not much of a painter and am worried i will make it look unrealistic
