Hello everyone and Happy New Year! I have been nano reef keeping for several years. I have a 12 and a 24 gallon Nano Cube currently with a couple of tangs and corals.
I have a question concerning an over abundance of Pink Creeping Xenia. I need to prune it but I'm not sure of the best way to approach this. I have read to cut it off as close to the base of the rock as possible and I have also read to just tear it away and that most of it will pull loose. If I cut them, will this release anything into the water that could be harmful to the tangs and other corals?
Thanks for any input, it would be much appreciated!
