*w2 Im also in Indiana, hope you enjoy the site, that tank should be easy to care for. Sometime you might consider about 6 or so White Cloud Mountain Minnows, small, attractive, swim in a group mostly, and not much mess. that would add a little movement, help feed your plants, but certainly not overload your system. Thanks for joining and enjoy your stay.

Another option, while we are pitching fish, would be a small group of killies. They seem to average very colorful fish that are not big enough to detract from the appearance of the plant tank.

Welcome to the site! cardinal tetras and cherry shrimp make a great impression against a planted tank, especially if u use black gravel and spray-paint the back of the tank black(from the outside). if your tank is for looks, u would definately want to do the above.
