Hi, I have a mystery snail and the other day the shell had a crack. Should I take the snail out and put it in a separate one gallon tank?? Should I put aunt specific liquid in the tank?? Does the shell grow back? That's what I heard. 馃槓 Well, please answer back!!! Bye.

The shell should heal. However if the shell was thin enough to crack, there might be a calcium deficiency and the snails shell maybe deteriorating. If that is the case, then no it will not grow back and your snail will most likely die soon.

There are a few ways to bump up the calcium levels of your aquarium. If you have shellfish or snails you should look into it. It will also help the fish develop strong bones :)
