Hi, my name is Anna, and I am a Biology major at a medium sized PA university. I have come here in hopes of procuring a variety of freshwater snail species for a project on freshwater snails. They will be used as a display, then I'll just keep them as pets. Don't worry, no dissection!

Welcome to the site. You should be able to find a variety of snails from people on the board, and even in places like petsmart and petco will usually let a person have ramshorns and pond snails just to get rid of them. Most of the other types like apple, nerite and assassin snails your going to have to buy them.

petsmart in the Oakwood Plaza in Hollywood have a lot of snails. Had to run down last night and saw them

My name is Wally and I have a small ref system in a 12 gallon Nano Cube.
I have just recently purchased a 45 gallon bow front corner aquarium which I plan to expand my reef into.
Right now I am working on collecting the things that I need to get started. I will be building my own sump custom to fit the stand and I might even take a shot at building my own protein skimmer.
