[Waterlogged]

I'm Daryl, I started my first aquarium when I was 12-13 years old. I'm now 63. There have been periods in my life that I didn't have an aquarium set up. My ex didn't really care for them. But I just set up my 46 gal. bow front again this last week. When I get this one stabilized I'm thinking about have some shrimp. I've never done shrimp before. I'm wondering if they will do well in my community set up. Are there any fish that I should try to avoid? I will have plenty of live plants. Are there any particular water parameters I need. My water is around 7.1- 7.2 ph.

Hello and welcome. If you plan on shrimp make sure you have lots of plants for hiding as there are no shrimp safe fish. Any fish will go after shrimp. Even small fish like rasboras or something as small as darios. Ph is good for neo cardinias like cherry or blue dream, getting into cardinias you would need to lower your ph.
