I just signed up and the information on this site is fabulous. I am very interested learning new ideas and products from you all. I have a 60 gallon tank and have outfitted it with 1-AquaClear70, 1-AquaClear50 power filters, I have also added a AquaClear50 PowerHead, 300 Watt heater, 2 Air pumps that connect to a bubbler stick, waterfall decoration, and air stone. This is my first big tank and I am so excited about it. I will put pictures in later when everything is going good. Well just wanted to say Hello, I will talk to everyone later.

You are all so nice! Right now I am fighting a semi-bad case of Ick. I have lost almost 10 fish in 3 days and right now I kept the ones that show no signs of Ick. I kept 8 fish and 6 shrimps.

3 neon Danio's (pink, yellow, and orange)
1 albino Cory
1 peppered Cory
2 balloon mollies
1 striped Raphael catfish
6 ghost shrimp

I was able to quarantine them almost 3 days ago and they all seem fine. I have them in a small 5 gallon filtered octagon tank. I am treating them with Jungle Ick fizzy tabs and the 60 gallon is being treated with Mardel Copper safe. The specialists at PetSmart told me this was going to be the best way to treat them. Any input is APPRECIATED. I'm sitting here looking at my 60 gallon and I can't wait to get the fish back home.
I am using the Powerhead to make some current and help aid in the cleaning and aeration process, it moves an additional 270gph (no under gravel filtration). I will have time to review and research some new fish for when the time is right. Any suggestions? I am also interested in live plants, I prefer smaller ones so I can blend them in and omit the fake ones. Pictures will be soon, hope to take some either tonight or tomorrow morning.

They have pink, green, yellow, and orange danios. When I bought the 3 I have they didn't have any green, but as soon as I get the big tank back to normal I am going to get a green one. I will get some pics of these and put them on site after about another week or so. After ich clears up. Big tank is looking good and is now crystal clear, levels are just about right. I cant wait to get my fish back in their home.
