I have, what I believe to be green spot algae begining to grow in my planted tank. I have carried out some research and believe it is hard to remove. Having reduced the time of lights and increased my water change to remove nutrients the problem is still present. Does any one have an solutions to battle this, my loaches and pleco do not seem up to the job, hey at least the pleco is not eating my plants!*n1

GSA is a sign of phosphate deficiency. It is hard to remove. You will need a scraper or a credit card to do the trick. Nerite snails will take care of it as well.
