I started my aquarium on 5/20. I put in 3 red wag platys. I havent fed my fish yet because I still waiting for the tank to cycle. Latest reading were ammonia-.25, nitite-0, ph-8. I was wondering if I should feed my fish its been 5 days now?

Yes, you should be feeding your fishies. The fish food will actually aid in the cycling process. Being that this is a fishy cycle, you will need to stay on top of the water parms and water changes.

My other question has to do with the cycling. If I'm suppose to keep ammonia at 0, how is Nitite going to build?

That makes sense but everything I've read said if/when I test for ammonia if I get a reading other than 0 I should do partial water changes, which I have been doing I then get a 0 reading for about a day then its back up to .25.
