I have a question... since the last two months my Corydora Catfish (only one of it's kind in my tank) has been digging up all the gravel in one spot of the tank. Does anyone have any experiance of this and maybe know why?

Most cories will dig in the substrate looking for bits of food. Its natural for them to do this. He would be happier though if you can add a couple more of his kind as they are a very social fish.

Make sure that your gravel is smooth because if it isn't it can wear down their barbels causing other problems down the road.

You should try and keep odd number of groups of fish. take panda corys in a group of 7 or more they do all sorts of interedsting thing and are much more fun to watch.

Very cool. Thanks for the answer. I'll go and buy 2 or 4 more tomorrow to see what they get up to.

Tank's pretty empty anyway at the moment... Can you recommend any other interesting fish that would go with them?.. Tank is 500L
