yeah susan is right those plants on the left are commonly sold as aquarium plants but will eventually die. they are supposed to be terrarium plants other than that your tank really needs a nice background to reflect the colors of your fish.
If you get a clown pleco, be sure you put in a small piece of driftwood for it. They actually need it to survive. They are very shy fish, and hide a lot, usually on the driftwood, which they eat. Oto's are more social, and fun to watch, I have those in every tank I have. I love both my clown pleco, and my otos, though!
