What is the best way to tell if you are adding too much, not enough or just the right amount of CO2 into a tank?

I just introuduced a DIY system and I want to make sure it's working properly.

Thanks,

You're best way is by use of a drop checker. Green is good...Blue is too little...Yellow is too much.

You can also get a fairly good idea by doing a KH test. But I would just invest in the drop checker.

I can see the drops going into the tank. Is that what a drop checker will do? I would say I'm getting about a drop every second.
