I bought a fresh water salt and i added 2 table spoons and 3 hours later I come home to a slightly cloudy tank. I dont know whats going on. I bought the master test kit aswell every thing but high ph is good its 7.8 I thnk. And low ph is kinda iffy like 7.2 I dont know if i am retarted but correct me obn what the levels are good at. sorry

what type of fish are you housing...... that sometimes matters. wink

PH of 7.0 is generally where you want to be in freshwater tanks, but there are fish that like it higher, brackish water fish and some that like it lower. but most fish will become accustom to whatever you PH is, unless it is way high or low. It becomes more important went breeding, some fish the PH has to be just right.
