Is it normal for the water peramiters to change a bit between water changes. I am striving for soft acidic water. I have hard acidic water.

Her are my water peramiters

Nitrate {Day1-10} {Day2-10} {Day3-10} {Day4-10} {Day5-15}
Nitrite {Day1-0} {Day2-0} {Day3-0} {Day4-0} {Day5-.5}
Hardness {Day1-80}{Day2-80} {Day3-80}{Day4-150} {Day5-150}
Alkalinity All Days 0
PH [Day1-6.2] [Day2-6.2] [Day3-6.0] [Day4 6.0] [Day5 5.8]

I need soft acidic water, but have hard acidic water.

SOOO I do a water c change and about 30 minutes later the only drop is the Nitrate which went from 15 to 10

Is it OK that my Nitrate went up on day 5 to 15
Why did my hardness go from 80-150 by day 5
Trying to find out why my PH droped from 6.2 tp 5.8 on day 5

After a water change the following numbers tend to return close to what are liste- but change a little of a 5 day perod. OH my tank is Fully Cycled.

Thanks

Our city well water is very hard 600-800 PPM Cal/Mag. After dealing with it and trying to treat it chemically with mixed results I finally switched to using 50% RO water which made it much softer and able to maintain the parameters I wanted easier. This in turn helped my hydroponic Hedra Ivy plants grow much better and faster keeping my nitrates very low so that now my water changes are fewer and father in between.
