I have a male betta in a fairly large tank. The tank has a few plants and plenty of places to hide. There are a few Guppies and Corys in with him but I am wondering what other fish I can put in with him. There's the obvious Tetra and Rasbora, but I want something similar size to a Betta to share the limelight. I was thinking something like a Dwarf Gourami or Ram. My Betta is really chill so not worried about him being aggressive but new fish might be risky.
Any recommendations that anyone has tried successfully?

Hi!
If you are looking tank mates for bettas, I suggest to never mix anabantoid fish (fish with ladybrinth organ) with anabantoid fish such as bettas, gouramis, anabas, etc

Hope this helps!
