Hello,

I measured the wall where I plan to put my aquarium and it is 31” which I believe will allow me to get a 29 gallon size. I’m going to get a glass on not acrylic. Can anyone give me suggestions as to what to buy and what not to buy to get this set up? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks!

First let me welcome you to the forums. Glad to have you here.

A 29 gal is a good start for a tank, you will need the tank, a stand to put the tank on, either a hood or glass top and light fixture, depending on if you want live plants. You will need a good filter, best to get one that will work for a little larger tank like for a 40 gal. gravel or plant substrate, sand or which ever you like. and a heater.

You should also get a test kit, dechlorinater which prime is the best in my opinion and api test kit. The liquid is best as the strips aren't quite accurate.
