Ok so I treated myself to a 14g biocube today... I'm doing a fresh water tank with a few plants.. So here's a few questions:

in the tank now is about 5 tetras and a crayfish and some snails. I wanna get maybe 2 more larger fish. Maybe a cichlid of some kind?? I donno. What are my options? Could I do a convict? They say 20 gal minimum.

Also I'd like to get some nice hardy plants that aren't going to need a c02 setup. I have a couple water Lilly bulbs in there now. But again I wanna know what my options are.

Was also thinking of swapping the apnick (sp?) light for a second 10k.

Any other opinions? And yes I put cycled media in it...

Thanks, mike

I usually keep non-agressive with non-agressive and agressive with agressive. The cichlids might go after the tetras.

I agree with Nurse Platy, wouldn't put a cichlid in with tetras, especially convicts. I don't know how they do with invertebrates, but they may well go after the crayfish too.
