snail invader

This guy and 6 tiny babies like him just suddenly turned up in my tank! what type of snail is it and should I be worried? I was cleaning ornaments earlier and i couldnt find the big snail anywhere and only 3 little ones which i washed off dont mind snails but dont want to be over run!
