I dont see it making a huge difference, honestly. You hear it time and time again, "I had/have a RTC in a 55 and its perfectly fine" "I keep 12 goldies in a 10 gal and they are fine!" People just...

Yes it will grow like mad. I one trimmed it before a 3 day trip and it was touching the top of the water when I returned. Just take it out as it becomes unruly. :)

hi :) Its very hard to have too many plants and many enjoy the jungle look in their tanks. Hornwort is a good nitrate sucker upper too, so I wouldnt worry. Just clear out as needed as your 2lb will...

you can also consider adding a bit of egg yolk to the mix. But i 100% agree with Henningc, this is cheap and easy but for better results a higher quality diet is needed.
