Help with ich

I have been having a problem with ich for the last three or four weeks. I have 3 clowns with a mild case a royal gramma with a bad case and a mimic tang with a mild case. I was going to set up a quarantine tank but I would rather deal with it in the DT. I have corals so medicating them is out. I think the reason they have it is unstable ph. I have to buffer my ph like crazy! I can't figure out why. I read today it might not be getting enough oxygen into the water so I put a pump with an air stone in my sump a few minutes ago. I have a large skimmer, but maybe it is not doing enough? I do have glass lids maybe that is not allowing enough exchange? Also I have a wood burning stove in the room plus I live t fairly high altitude 5800' if that could contribute? The granny and tang will skip a meal now and then but the clowns never do. My 6 line wrasse and damsel seem to have kicked it. I have yet to lose a fish since I started my tank. I would especially hate to lose my percula or my Picasso clown. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Re: Help with ich

CO2 levels in and around the area of the tank don't help. Lids on the tank don't help. Tank will correct itself with proper aeration. And if you have a sump and a skimmer, you have enough. Look into removing the lids. Air the tank out, its not getting a good gas exchange.
Or your ALK is off also.

Re: Help with ich

My DKH is right at 12. Does that stuff work with coral?
I took the lids off this morning.

Re: Help with ich

Got some. It says on the bottle your corals might shrivel up and die if they are not healthy.....nice

Re: Help with ich

I am having one of those days. Got home put the medicine in and then noticed I had a slow leak on one of my bulk heads. So I had to drain it down past there and try and fix it, hopefully I got it. The glass chipped a little on that one when I drilled it so I think that was problem. So far all of the fish are holding on. The granny and tang ate tonite and they both skipped the last two meals. Although the tang eats all the seaweed I put in there everyday.
