My cat....

Let me start from the beginning. My cat Bella was always a loving cat with a little bit of stupidity but I loved her. She was not afraid of my moms car. So one day while my mom was backing up, my cat ran up under the car and got hit. She only got her tail hurt so she had no feeling in her tail anymore. I just got the news a few moments ago that.... she died. I can't believe it, I always hoped she would still be alive when I went off to college. I found her and her 3 siblings in the back yard about last year or the year before. The cats names were misty( A calm, lazy, but loving gray cat). Boots a siamese cat with black little paws. Socks, a siamese cat with white feet. And Bella, a sort of brown cat. Socks was the first cat to dissapere. Misty was the next ( We think they were taken by hawks, they were babies when we found them so they weren't that big by this time). Now my favorite cat Bella is dead........ I remember when I first found the cats. Boots came out of their hole to look at me because they were so young and did not know any better. Boots was eating a dead rat, I remembered it was him because of his feet color. Misty was the last cat I found( The same day though) I had found Bella, Boots, and Socks. I wondered if their was any other cat that I had missed. So I went back and I found Misty. When I found them I told my mom that the mom ran away even though I could see her, because I wanted a pet that I could love on. All I had for pets were fish. Fish that I could not love on, pet, or that could show me love. I am just heart broken that Bella is dead.

Re: My cat....

:( This saddens me. I pray for peace in your heart and healing. Sorry she is gone. I have lost so many little furry pets and I still get teary eyed when I think of them. Sucks to lose them, but think of the great times you have had and know she was well loved and cared for. That, at least may bring you some peace of mind.

Re: My cat....

I second Bev's sentiments. It hurts to loose a furry pet. I have lost numerous pets and it still hurts. Prayers coming your way to help ease your pain

Have a blessed day

BTW
Have you my translation to the sponge iron properly read? Sometimes the translator goes crazy. Not mind, please.

Re: My cat....

Big B, I am totally sad for you. The modern world has cars and things that can kill a little animal so quickly, and the poor little animal has no understanding of that thing. I have a little cat here that I saved from hypotehermia and starvation and becoming road-kill last Christmas. As much as she might want out of the house, she will never get out of the house. The life expectancy of an outside cat is on average about 5 years. An indoor cat, has a life expectancy of 15 years. When anyone allows a cat outside, they are putting the cat at risk for a shorter life. My old Main Coon cat was attacked by a dog. it was horrible. We took him to a vet and the vet stuffed his chest muscles back in but he got coccidia an ameoba who attacks animals when they are weak. The ameoba killed the cat. He was 12 and had lived a good life. There are so many homeless cats out there. You hear about homeless dogs a lot, but there are many more homeless cats. Although this is sad and sorrow-full, please allow a kitten or cat back into your life. An elderly cat is also good. I tell you, I told myself I was over cats, but when I adopted that little kitten I found frozen in the road, I really knew that I would always have at least one cat. She was hit by a car and left for ded. I picked her up. She was bleeding out of her orifices. A rescue organization would have put her down, but I let her take the time she needed to heal. She is so funny and a joy. She is a tortie so she looks like mud. Her name is Luna because she is crazy. This is her one day after she got spayed last month:

Love a kitty. Love again!

Re: My cat....

She was wild when I first found her, but after she got spayed she was just a love bug.

Re: My cat....

I just spent 10 minutes in about 90 degree heat outside chipping the word BELLA into the concrete block I put over her grave so animals wouldn't get to her.

Also, when I said she was wild I meant two things.
1 She would jump on you with her claws out and that kind of stuff before she was spayed.
2 she was found in the back yard.

Re: My cat....

I also found a tiny kitten freezing outside when it was 10 below last winder. I took her in and got her some vet care. A year later and she is the most loving cat I have ever seen.

Here is a pic from when I first found her:

And her is a more recent pic Her name is Bella.
