Re: Freshwater Lionfish!!!!

No, they can not live in freshautolinker.com autolinking image water, as of yet.
Brackish and semi freshautolinker.com autolinking image is not FRESH WATER. 6PPT as she tested is called Hyposalinity (1.006-1.009), and every saltwater fish can survive this, us salties should know, we use Hypo to kill Marine Ich on our fish.

Re: Freshwater Lionfish!!!!

I did read the same story of this girl.RM is correct about the fish being able to survive the hyposalinty, but what is troubling is these fish are intentionally going into these brackish waters. They seem to know almost no limit.Considering there are few if any predators for them in the FLA area they really shouldn't need to go to such extremes for food or to escape predators. They really are the marine version of the snakehead when it comes to invasiveness.Just a whole lot less boundries in the ocean then in bodies of freshwaterautolinker.com autolinking image.

you know now im thinking what if the snake heads went to the sea or teamed up with the lion fish and started killing people now that would be scary. sorry if that was inappropriate i was just thinking....

Re: Freshwater Lionfish!!!!

I can't remember where I read it, I think on TPT that the girl had copied a paper that was written a while back by a friend of her fathers.

SUCCESS IS MEASURED BY YEARS, NOT MONTHS!!!
220 Tank build + 62 other tanks.
