Sweet lips advice

While at my LFS, I laid eyes on a beautiful juvenile sweet lips! My LFS told me my 92 would be big enough to house him however when I did my research on this guy it appears he needs a minimum tank size of 500 gallons or more! Don't believe everything you read on the interwebs right? Anyone have one of these and can recommend a tank size?

Re: Sweet lips advice

Never had one but they do get huge!On being a finicky eater I would imagine that changes when they can fit their tank mates in their mouths!I actually considered one till I saw how big they get.Not even in my 120!I'm honestly not sure how much longer I get to keep my fowlr as the original plan was aprox. 2 years before the fish were too large.I'm 1 + years in and everyone has at least doubled in size. The lion fish are not super active so maybe they'll be ok,but the grouper(my favorite) and morray swim alot or very fast which is not right in such a small tank.My LFS will take them back for credit when I want.I made them promise before I bought them!

Hmmmmmmm.... Keep, raise, then credit? I like that idea! Might ask my store if they're in. However, I get so attached to my babies!! Oh, the decisions!!
