Bubble on eye of cory?

One of my corys has developed a cloudy bubble on its eye. It moves with his eye when he looks down. The rest of his eye looks perfectly normal. Is there a way to post a picture to show? Any advice would be helpful. Thank you!

Re: Bubble on eye of cory?

There is a way to upload pics while you're typing your post. The icon looks like a paperclip. I've had this happen to my cories before too. It's not a good thing. I've not yet figured out if it's a viral or bacterial infection, but it's definitely not good. The bad news is I've not had a Cory survive this issue. Doesn't mean it can't happen, in fact I probably didn't treat correctly. I wish you luck, and hopefully one of the veterans will chime in for you here. Tom where you at buddy??

Thanks! I posted under diseases and one person told me it could be my water is out of balance. Turns out my tank isn't cycled yet and my nitrites were high. I did a 50% water change and his eye got better and all the fish acted a lot happier. Another person thought it was an egg!!! He seems to be much better and I will be keeping a close watch until the tank gets cycled!
