Woken up by splashing

I was having some heartburn so went upstairs to sleep in the LazyBoy, I was passed out drooling. Then "splash" and "thump", my heart skipped a beat. First I thought a fish jumped out, but that can't be they are all covered. After getting my pulse down and eyes adjusted to the light, I found out what had happened.

So I live in the "south-side" and I've been dealing with mice or should I say living with this issue. Anywho guess one little mouse wanted to take a swim in the JackD's tank, that was a bad idea cause they just got free swimmers 2 days ago. That big male doesn't even let me clean the glass without knocking the mag-float off, needless to say the poor mouse was destroyed. It looked like some one hit it with a meat tenderizer.

What a great start to the day! Lol. Well guess I can make the wife breakfast now(trying to get her to let me have one more tank, wanta try SW for a change)

I play Classical Guitar to my fish

Wow, poor mouse! But hey live food is always a treat for the fish. Good thing he took care of the cleanup for you though. Fishing out a wet dead mouse would have been less than pleasant!

Re: Woken up by splashing

That was a great humor story!

Oh how I wish I was a fish to swim in the deep blue sea. I would swim up and down and all around in laps of two or three. There would be no rules to follow, all fun down here. On land rules ae trouble, a real pain in the rear. Humans are not wanted down here and for them you must always look. For they only want to see us fish dangling from hook. A sea full of wonder, yes that's the life for me. Oh how I wish to be a fish and one day soon I'll be!
