Severum chasing

Recently got a 4 inch red spotted severum. The owner of the lfs said to get another young one asap so they grow up together (this was the last one they had). The next day I bought a 2.5 inch specimen from another lfs.
The problem is the bigger one is chasing the littler one around. Nothing crazy and it almost seems half-hearted but just wanted to see if this is normal behavior. It is not constant but regular. No nipping that I can see and they both eat heartily.
Tank is 150 gallons with lots of terrain and some plants.
Small one is a female. Not sure about the larger one.
Thanks for any help!
