Cichlids. What's your 2 cents?

What do you think of my stocking list for my 75 gallon? Running 2 fluval 406 canisters, with a 25ish percent water change per week.
1 red severum (already have)
1 electric blue acara
1 threadfin geophagus
1 thorichthys ellioti
1 king kong parrot(maybe)
1 bandit cichlid (maybe)
1 albino bristlenose pleco (maybe)

Re: Cichlids. What's your 2 cents?

I have an African cichlid tank, and a South American Cichlid tank. I never mix the 2, it doesn't go well. I would stick with South American Cichlids, since you already have the SEverum. I have 2 Severums, 2 blood parrots, 2 pink convicts, and 5 firemouths in a 90g tank with 5 pictus catfish, and they all do well. Just be sure to have plenty of hiding places, so each male can have his own territory.
