Suggestions for non-goldfish species in indoor pond

Hi,

I bought a 70 gallon indoor pond for three goldfishautolinker.com autolinking image, but they're already outgrowing it. What else would look nice to replace them that won't outgrow it? Heating it for warm water fish wouldn't be a problem.

The "pond" has three side windows to look in, but it's still on the ground and mostly opaque, so the fish will mostly be seen from above.

First of all, this sounds gourgous! Can you post photos? Secondly, I would assume anything that would fit in stocking wise for a similar size aquarium would work in it. Angel fish, livebearers, tetras. I would steer clear of fish that may jump since I assume you wont have a lid on it, but other than that you have a lot of options.

70 gallon- Betta Enisae pair, betta Ocellata pair, female Betta Pugnax

29 Gallon- Betta Pallifina and Betta Patoti

20 Gallon- Betta Gladiator

5 Gallon- Betta Channoides

And numerous Betta Splendens

Coming soon: Betta Macrostoma :D

I would leave out angels in this equation because they are a thin fish and won't stand out to well from above. Most thicker bodied fish should work well in this as they would be able to be seen from above.

SUCCESS IS MEASURED BY YEARS, NOT MONTHS!!!
220 Tank build + 62 other tanks.

A group of nice sailfin mollys, different color strains would work well. Once adult size 4" they come to feed just like Koi. I'd add a few swords like velvets and pineapples for colors mollys just can't do.
